Devi - an experimental dance drama

Studio J in partnership with Multicultural Arts Victoria present "Devi". An experimental dance drama, inspired by the Sufi concept of 'Death before you Die'.

Three characters, Hajra (the traveler), Kali (Goddess of Death) & the Falcon (a higher self) join forces to explore the shedding of an old skin.

The performance combines experimental movement, classical dance, live instruments & vocals, in an intimate theatre setting.
